After you’ve written the text part of your article, you can add photos. Here’s how.

1. Before uploading an image, place the cursor at the position in the Post box where you want the image to appear. I recommend placing the cursor at the beginning of a line of text or on a line by itself.
2. At the top of the Post box, there is a tool bar of useful functions that will help you format your post. To upload and insert photos into your post, press the far right tool () to “Upload and Insert Images.” This will open a new window.
3. Make sure the “Upload” tab is highlighted at the top of the window.
   • Leave the “Number to upload” at one.
     
   • Beneath “Number to upload”, click the Browse button
     
     and navigate to the image file on your computer that you wish to upload.
   • Select the file. Then click the “Upload” button.
4. The “Uploading Images” window will appear, and a thumbnail image of your photo will be displayed.
   • OPTIONAL: Enter a name and description for your image and enter your username in the “Category” box. This information does not appear in your post, but it will help you find the image later, if you should ever wish to use it again.
   • Click the “Next” button. If you don’t see a Next button, scroll down the image upload window.
5. The Insert Images window is loaded.
   • Now select the image Size: Thumbnail or Full Image
   • To position your image on the page, select one of the “Style” options:
     • inline = place image in line with text at cursor position
     • center = center the image on the page at the cursor position
     • left = left justify image
     • right = right justify image
   • Click the Insert button
6. When the image has been inserted, close the Image Upload window.

If you wish to add another photo to your article, repeat the process from Step 1. Don’t forget to Publish your post after adding photos.
